The Zoo Med High Range Reptile Thermometer is a liquid crystal-based tool designed for use in both terrariums and aquariums to gauge air or water temperatures. It operates without the need for batteries and displays a temperature range of 70° to 105° F through clear, color-coded liquid crystal readings.

Note that this thermometer is not intended for measuring basking temperatures. For monitoring basking areas in your reptile’s enclosure, we suggest using a digital probe thermometer or an infrared thermometer.
