YONEX Percept 97 4 1/2" (G4) Flexible Responsive Tennis Racquet for Intermediate/Advanced Players | Exceptional Control, Intense Spin, Olive Green

The YONEX Percept 97 Tennis Racquet is a precision instrument designed for players who demand ultimate control and feel. With its 97 sq in head and 21 mm beam, it delivers the traditional response of a classic player's frame while incorporating modern engineering for enhanced spin, comfort, and stability. The racquet's FlexCon System and NAMD-2G graphite construction allow the ball to pocket deeply into the string bed, rewarding clean technique with heightened feedback and spin potential. Comfort is a standout feature thanks to the Servo Filter vibration-dampening layer integrated into the shaft. This innovation reduces impact shock without muting the ball’s feedback, giving players an arm-friendly experience that still communicates the subtleties of each shot. Combined with a flexible stiffness rating around 60 RA, the racquet promotes long-term playability without strain. From the baseline, the Percept 97 is fast through the air, making it easy to whip topspin and carve slices. At the net, its quick handling ensures confident volleys and touch play. While stock specs prioritize maneuverability, the tennis racquet responds exceptionally well to customization, allowing advanced players to fine-tune stability and plow-through. The result is a versatile, high-performance racquet for competitors who prize accuracy and feel above all.

• PRECISION-ORIENTED DESIGN - Built for advanced players, the Percept 97 emphasizes absolute control and accuracy; Its 97 sq in head size and 21 mm beam produce a classic feel, rewarding clean technique with surgical shot placement; players who thrive on constructing points with precision will appreciate its finely tuned response from all areas of the court
• ARM-FRIENDLY COMFORT - With a flexible RA rating of approx.60 and the innovative Servo Filter vibration-dampening system, this tennis racquet is engineered for comfort without sacrificing performance; the layup reduces harsh impact while maintaining excellent feedback, making it ideal for players seeking a control racquet that's gentle on the arm and shoulder
• ENHANCED BALL POCKETING - The FlexCon System and NAMD-2G graphite create exceptional dwell time, allowing the ball to sink deeper into the string bed; this boosts both feel and spin potential, giving players more confidence to accelerate through their strokes while still maintaining control and consistency, especially on topspin-heavy groundstrokes
• SPIN-FRIENDLY DYNAMICS - The 16×19 string pattern and maneuverable swingweight (310 g / 10.9 oz) enable quick racquet head speed for aggressive spin generation; whether it's heavy topspin from the baseline or biting slice backhands, the racquet's design supports versatile stroke production while still retaining stability and control during faster rallies or defensive exchanges
• ISOMETRIC RACQUET FRAME - Compared to a conventional round frame, a square-shaped Isometric racquet generates a larger sweet spot by optimizing the intersection of the main and cross strings; Isometric technology delivers greater control without sacrificing power; the stiff racquet face design improves ball control by stabilizing the racquet face at impact
