Woodstock Wind Chimes for Outside, Garden, Patio, Porch and Outdoor Decor, Wind Gong Style Wind Chimes (30") Healing Gong Gifts (HG)

In Buddhism, the gong is sounded at the start and end of each day. In Chinese temples, gongs are struck 108 times because it's believed that sentient beings have 108 types of worries. The teaching is this - upon hearing the gong, worries will cease, wisdom will grow. The deep tones of this hand-hammered bronze gong are played by the peaceful winds of your environment or by hand. The authentic bronze gong design, the bold three-piece top, and the flaring wind catcher at the bottom all combine energetically indoors or out. A perfect companion to the Woodstock Healing Chime. In 1979, Grammy Award winning musician and instrument designer Garry Kvistad founded Woodstock Percussion with a single great idea – to make the world’s best sounding windchime. He’s been creating his world-famous, musically-tuned Woodstock Chimes ever since. In 1986 he added children’s musical instruments to the lineup, creating the Woodstock Music Collection. Today his company offers a unique variety of high-quality, affordable musical gifts from around the world that inspire, entertain and bring pleasure to people of all ages.
