This is a true story about Mickey the real-life corgi who in December of 2024 went into kidney failure.Mickey had to be hospitalized at two different hospitals for a total of 13 days. The first hospital, VCA Animal Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida, kept Mickey alive, while the second hospital, LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital in Cooper City, Florida, saved his life using Hemodialysis.Hemodialysis is expensive, but Mickey is luckily insured by Lemonade Pet Insurance. Insurance paid 90% of all costs from both hospitals.As of this writing in September 2025, Mickey’s kidneys are normal and he is a happy boy. He is truly A Miracle Corgi. Read more
