Our cast iron is ideal for paella: Excellent heat retention means ingredients are cooked evenly and never burnt. Staub has evolved the traditional Moroccan tajine with a strong cast iron base. The earthenware ceramic cone locks in moisture with no need to open, stir or turn. Enamelled cast iron offers great heat retention, durability and ease of use. The black matte enamelled interior is highly durable, does not discolour, rust, or chip. Special, smooth ceramic bottom is suitable for any cooking surface. No seasoning required. The more you use it, the better it gets as the oils used when cooking will penetrate the pores of the matte enamel and create a natural, smooth non-stick surface.
- Tajine with cast iron base and ceramic upper
- The cast iron base heats evenly, without hotspots, helping to prevent your dish from burning
- Matte black enamel interior helps to develop great flavour, is scratch resistant and easy to clean
- Suitable for use in the oven and on all hob types including induction
- Lifetime warranty for domestic use against defects in manufacture and materials; made by STAUB in France
