The Starrett Duratec SFB carbon steel band saw blade has a skip tooth, raker set, and a neutral rake angle for cuts on aluminum, other nonferrous metals, and wood. The blade is good for contour and straight cuts on a variety of machines. The skip tooth (also called buttress tooth) has a neutral rake angle for general-purpose cutting, and the expanded gullets, or spaces between the teeth, allow the blade to cut softer materials without overloading the gullets with chips. It is made of carbon steel with a flexible back that resists breakage when making curved cuts.
