  • 🎨 Liquid charcoals remain smudgable and removable with water, depending on the substrate and layer thickness, better adhesion than drawing charcoal. As a thin underpainting (e.g. in oil painting) less contamination of subsequent colors than with conventional charcoal.
  • 🎨 Application: Pure from the tube or diluted with water, also ideal for large-scale charcoal painting. Smudgability and removability depend on the surface of the substrate, the smoother and firmer, the easier it is to change. Pre-tests recommended. Can be combined with drawing charcoal.
