Modern Patchwork was written by Rachel Martens, published in 1970 by Countryside Press. As described in the foreword...
"The patchwork renaissance starts with design - and that's what this book is all about. Here are authentic old patterns for quilt blocks which appeared in Farm Journal from the Twenties... but translated into new materials and vibrant new colorings, and sewed into everything imaginable to wear or use in the home - including quilts."
Great for anyone who loves quilting or is interested in the history of quilting.
