The Rome Rene is the newest board coming from the creative mind of Rome Team Rider, Rene Rinnekangas. Designed to be his go to ATV, he made this board to be a freestyle monster and able to handle anything in its way. A fusion camber profile combined with a directional twin shape makes it able to handle anything on the mountain, including lapping the park, or floating through powder. A pro level Pop Core with enough additives to give some of the best ollie power, response, and an aggressive freestyle flex on the market, you don't want to be caught out being the laughing stock of the neighbourhood missing out on this board.

Board Type: All Mountain

All Mountain snowboards are versatile boards that excel across various terrains, from groomed runs to off-piste. These boards offer solid edge control and responsiveness, making them a great option for riders who want one board to do just about everything.

Flex: 7/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

A mid-stiff flex delivers stability when you open it up, stronger edge hold through hard carves, and reliable support on bigger features. It rewards confident riders with a locked-in feel, smooth damping, and control when conditions demand.

Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced

Advanced snowboards are stiffer and more responsive, designed for high-speed control, precision riding, and handling challenging terrain or tricks.

Shape: Directional Twin

A directional twin snowboard has a symmetrical shape but with a slightly shifted stance, making it ideal for riders who want the versatility of a twin for freestyle, with the added stability of a directional design. Wide boards are for those with large boot sizes and provide extra flotation, reduced drag, and never feel clunky or cumbersome underfoot.

Sidecut: Radial Sidecut

Inserts: 2x4 Inserts

These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.

Board Construction

Laminate: Triax Upper Glass, Triax Lower Glass, Directional Triple Bamboo Omega HotRods

Triaxial Fiberglass that runs in three different angles above the core for torsional rigidity and adds extra snap to the board.

Carbon Hotrods are thin rods of carbon milled into the boards core, making the board responsive and powerfully snappy. This configuration inlays a rod in the centreline of the board in the nose and tail, maintaining a pressable yet poppy board personality.

Core: Pop Core

The Pop Core offers versatile and durable construction that is made of alternating 20mm wide Poplar and Paulownia wood strips.

Base: SinterStrong Base

A low maintenance sintered base that is extremely versatile and fast.

Additional Features:

• Directional Diamond 3D

By having a wide, flat section in the middle of the board and then a 3D curve tapering past the contact points in the nose you get a stable ride while riding flat, turns easier, and disperses powder with ease.

• Tail Double Kick

Twin Double Kick is featured on freestyle-oriented boards, offering an aggressive two-part rise in the tail. It’s designed for more pop, enhanced torsional stability, and smoother landings.
