Upon carrying a daily fixed blade, I found none that fully met my needs. While there are established options, I sought a specific knife I couldn't find. Enter the Redhawk, a robust, medium-sized knife under 7 inches with an overall curve for smooth cuts. It boasts a reverse tanto or modified sheepsfoot blade with a slight belly, tall profile, and 0.12-inch thickness, offering a versatile blade for daily use. The acute tip and thin, slicey blade excel in fine work and puncturing, while the handles feature a scalloped area for a secure pinch grip. It's comfortable to use, with a full-sized handle and slightly undersized blade, making it a standout choice.
