I spent a week in Puerto Vallarta and I loved every single moment of it. I knew I had to write my recommendations about this spectacular destination. Vallarta, the city celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2018 and it was made famous by Elisabeth Taylor and Richard Burton who bought a home there in the 1960s when it was still an off-the-radar hamlet—and turned the area into the popular resort town it is today.
