A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a combination of a Gutlehrdorn and an Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschussseite is marked with a red ring. The Gut-Seite should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand without extra force. If not possible, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss-Seite can screw in up to two turns by hand. If it goes further, the thread is flawed. The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C. VÖLKEL offers a Werkskalibrierschein upon request. Calibration is done in an independent lab following set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
