These are plastic hinges designed to attach to resin blanks, facilitating a moving jaw. Tutorial videos on cutting and hinging resin blanks are available here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn1a0TMqOi7jZkQf5CPX5qg/videos. The hinges come with necessary hardware: x2 #8 3/4" long screws, x2 #8 lock nuts, x2 #10 metal washers, x2 #10 plastic washers, and x2 1" extension springs (unless no springs are ordered), in either normal or thick variants. Straight hinges function similarly to V or hybrid hinges for a moving jaw, but some users prefer V/hybrid hinges for added sensitivity and accommodation of larger heads. V hinges are also more versatile for use on other makers' heads.
