This elegant pair of brass wall shelves reflects the refined geometric lines popular during the late 20th-century revival of Art Deco and Hollywood Regency design. Crafted in the 1980s–1990s, these shelves draw inspiration from earlier French and American decorative metalwork, where polished brass was favored for its warmth and architectural presence. Pieces of this type were commonly used as accent display shelves in formal interiors, powder rooms, and salons, offering both function and sculptural appeal. Likely produced for the decorative home market, they embody the era’s appreciation for classical forms reinterpreted with clean, modern lines.
Dimensions: Each shelf measures approx. 10" L x 9" W x 3.75" D.
Condition: Overall very good vintage condition with visible surface scratches and light wear consistent with age and use; no structural issues noted.
