  • TUNA VENTRESCA: Our white tuna ventresca cans bring you the best part of the tuna fish- the belly filet, which is the most tasty, tender and delicate part. With the buttery, melt-in-mouth texture of our tuna ventresca, you can relish tuna, canned, that matches up to fresh tuna. Served straight from the tin, no mayo or condiments necessary, our exceptional tuna ventresca will impress even the most discerning palates.
  • ORTIZ WHITE TUNA: Known as bonito del norte in Spanish, white albacore tuna has a milder fishy flavor and more moist texture than other tunas, and the ventresca is its choicest filet. Plus, Ortiz tuna in olive oil is enhanced by the quality Spanish olive oil it is packed in, giving it a deliciously silky smoothness and exquisite flavor.
  • QUALITY YOU CAN TASTE: Once you’ve tasted Ortiz tuna, you won’t lower your standards. So much better than regular tuna in water, or even other brands of tuna in oil, Ortiz tuna takes a tin of tuna from basic to gourmet. Try it simply on baguette slices with its own olive oil, showcase it in a salade niçoise, or treat yourself straight out of the tin!
  • BROUGHT TO YOU FROM SPAIN: Ortiz tuna is caught in the Cantabrian Sea, off the northern coast of Spain. The exceptional quality is an outcome of our traditional fishing methods, which are better for the environment, and for you.The fish are individually pole and line caught during the natural fishing season, and hand cleaned and packaged to ensure you get canned tuna of the highest quality.
  • CONSERVAS ORTIZ: For over 130 years, our family-run company has been bringing you superior canned fish, distinguished by its exceptional flavor and texture. Our commitment to traditional, ecologically friendly sustainable fishing and handling techniques ensures your product is as tasty as it was all those years ago.
