Managing thermal layers inside a drysuit is a constant frustration — fleece bunches, rides up, and needs adjustment at the worst possible moments. The NRS Women's Lightweight Union Suit addresses this by keeping everything contained in a single piece that stays put.
The suit is built from soft, gridded fleece that breathes well through active paddling and doesn't feel clammy when you stop. Gasket-friendly cuffs slip cleanly inside drysuit or dry top gaskets without creating pressure points, and stirrups hold the legs down so the suit doesn't climb when you're moving around in the boat. The double-pull YKK® front zipper makes it easy to get in and out, and the YKK® dropseat zip means you don't have to strip down your drysuit for a quick stop on the river. UPF 50+ adds incidental sun protection on warmer days when you're layering less.
For three-season paddling across Canada, the Lightweight covers most thermal needs. Pair it with NRS HydroSkin when the water is cold, or step up to the Expedition Weight Union Suit for late-season and winter sessions.
