No. M0033 Vintage Taznakht Rug

A unique statement piece sourced from a small village neighbouring Ouarzazate in Morocco. Featuring a blue field, made from indigo-dyed natural wool - a rare dyeing practice in Morocco today. The large lozenge motifs in cream and green immediately draw attention to the central column of the rug, whilst the orange lines frame the field. A beautiful mix of bold colours that unexpectedly complement each other and form the strong character that this rug displays. Perfect for any space in desperate need of colour, and daring designers!

Amazigh rugs are originally handmade by Amazigh women, who have learnt the skill of weaving from their mothers and grandmothers. Each piece is unique with a strong character that shows in the story they tell and the imperfections they proudly display, reminding us of the beauty of authenticity and slow patient craftsmanship.
