If you're looking for a mid-width friendly freestyle snowboard that's perfect for side kicks, flat landings, carving and carving on any mountain - then the Optisym is the board you need to discover new possibilities and adventures. So let's start a freestyle revolution together!
Camber profile
Cam-Out Camber - Nitro's Cam-Out Camber is a classic camber shape, but with an early and smooth transition to the tip and tail. The result is a responsive board that allows for light and fast turns and is forgiving even after landing at 713.5°!
Flexibility
Flex Rating – 6/10
Urban – This ultra-flexible board can be adjusted for anything from rails to ground maneuvers and offers excellent stability.
Twin Flex –This board has a double flex, meaning both the tip and tail will flex equally so you can perform tricks and maneuvers equally in both normal and switch position.
Form
Asym Twin - It bends exactly the same whether you ride with your right foot in front or with your left. This makes it easy to hit the switch and land no matter which way you're facing. In addition, the asymmetric shape provides a tighter radius on the heel side, facilitating heel movement.
Double Degressive Side Cut -The radius of this side cut is combined with a smaller radius in the center and two larger ones at the tip and tail, making it loose and playful. Nitro's most forgiving sidecut.
Core
PowerCore 2 - Poplar wood core with beechwood strings for unmatched strength, smooth response and excellent flexibility.
Whiplash Core Profile - This profile has reduced thickness between the inserts with additional material outside the legs for maximum strength while maintaining perfect pressing flexibility.
Laminates
Bi-Lite Laminates - Nitro riders' trusted Bi-Lite laminates are designed for a strong riding style and refined board feel.
Foundation
Premium Extruded FH base - Extremely durable base that is easy to use and maintain.
Rail Killer Edge - Your secret weapon for rails, rocks and durability! With its unique edge profile and over 200% more impact resistance than a standard edge, the Rail Killer Edge is twice as thick and twice as strong. This patented design can take on any rail challenge. Either balance it with a file or ride and wear them naturally, this piece of steel has enough strength to last for years of use.
Ureshred sidewalls - these sidewalls are made of polyurethane, which makes them very resistant to impact and wear, as well as providing excellent damping properties. Combined with Nitro's exclusive Railkiller rims, their URESHRED sidewalls provide superior rim strength and feel.
