Lovett's Farm: Hope of Ray : Will Sophia find new life in death, new love in abandonment, and herself by walking away...? (Series #1) (Paperback)

Fresh from college, Sophia Hardy is about to have her eyes opened by lessons only real life can teach, as she excels from secretary to full time undertaker, and beguiles Jacob, the owner's wayward, rugby-playing, hunk of a son, into bed. Downtime means the simple pleasure of a quiet ploughman's supper and a brew; but undertaking has no timetable, and death doesn't discriminate, unlike the loathsome gossips of Fremmington Ayshe. When work and personal life clash, Sophia realises that fate can be ruthless, unforgiving, and brutal. Packing up her secrets, Sophia buys isolated Lovett's Farm, outside the remote village of Aileni, hundreds of miles from home, and vows never to return. Can she mould tragedy into paradise, forge love out of companionship, and craft the life of her dreams?
