Ladies of Golf

A signed and numbered limited edition giclee by John Holyfield inspired by Althea Gibson, the first Black woman on the LPGA tour and Renee Powell, the second Black woman on the LPGA tour, and all the other women of color who enjoy participating in the sport whether professionally, collegiately or just for fun.

Golf is a game of precision, patience, and perseverance. As a woman, and especially as an African American woman, your presence on the course is not only relevant but also empowering. Every swing you take and every hole you conquer is a testament to your strength, skill, and resilience. You are breaking barriers and shattering stereotypes with every step you take on the green. So, don't be intimidated by the sport. Instead, embrace it and let it fuel your passion. Who knows, you may just inspire the next generation of women to take up golf and make their mark in the world of sports.

This work of art by John Holyfield depicts three African American women enjoying a round of golf. It is available on either archival paper or premium canvas. Ships signed and numbered and with a certificate of authenticity from the artist.

The original work of art is currently displayed at the United States Golf Association Museum.
