We craft these hearty flapjacks in the frontier tradition with 100% whole-grain wheat flour and whole oats to give them the hearty texture you'd expect from a true frontier flapjack. Then, we add 14 grams of protein per serving to the mix so you're ready to take on whatever adventure the day brings. <br></p>

Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes, Flapjack and Waffle Mix, Cinnamon Oat, 20 Oz

  • Up to 18 grams of protein if you use milk and 21 grams if you add milk and eggs
  • Just add water or milk to prepare pancake and waffle batter

Sauteed Apple Cinnamon Pancakes
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup Kodiak Cakes Cinnamon Oat Power Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix
  • 1 cup water

Directions:
  1. Place butter, apples, maple syrup, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a pan and cook for 4-5 minutes or until apples soften
  2. Meanwhile, stir Kodiak Cakes Cinnamon Oat Powercakes mix and water together until combined
  3. Pour 1/4 cup batter onto a heated and greased pan or griddle. Cook on medium-high heat until bubbles form.
  4. Flip and continue to cook until golden brown
  5. Top flapjacks with cooked apple topping and serve warm

Kodiak Cakes began in 1982 when Penny Clark sent her 8-year-old son into the neighborhood with a red wagon full of paper bags that were filled with her father's heirloom flapjack mix and simple instructions written on the bags. He returned with an empty wagon and lifelong plans.
