Kelim Gashgai Rug

The Qashqai are Turkish-speaking nomadic tribes living in the region around Shiraz in southwestern Iran. Kilims are flatwoven wool rugs that can be used on both sides, featuring the characteristic slit weave, meaning the weft creates small gaps where colors change.
