Jackson Hole Fly Co - Silvertip 10' Sink Tip Weight Forward Fly Line

Depth Control Meets Casting Power

When your target zone is below the surface, but full-sink lines are too much, the Silvertip 10' Sink Tip Weight Forward Fly Line offers the perfect balance. Designed with a 10-foot sinking tip (3 inches per second), this line gets your fly down quickly while maintaining the casting ease and mending ability of a weight forward floating line.

Whether you're stripping streamers along riverbanks, swinging flies through current seams, or probing the depths of stillwater drop-offs, this line delivers consistent sink and intuitive control. Its versatile design is ideal for anglers who want to fish deeper without losing the feel and control of a floating head.

Built on a cold-water-friendly braided multifilament core, the Silvertip Sink Tip performs reliably in a range of conditions and recovers quickly for repeat casts. Available in line weights 4WT–12WT and a total length of 90 feet, it's a go-to line for targeting trout, bass, or even salmon in moving or still water.

📌 Pro Tip: Use this line with articulated streamers or weighted buggers when fish are holding near the bottom but still active—especially effective in early spring or late fall conditions.
