Sweet Sixteen Apple Tree produces one of the best apples for fresh-off-the-tree eating. The fruit is super sweet with a richly complex flavor that is similar to vanilla with just a hint of molasses and fine bourbon. It delivers a taste treat like no other apple of its type. Sweet Sixteen is extra hardy and long-lived even in harsh conditions. The fruit ripens in mid September, making it an autumn treat that can't be beat. This tree is hardy in USDA zones 3 to 6.
