GOLDEN Heavy Body Acrylics, Smalt Hue, 8 fl. oz. Jar, Professional Acrylic Paint, Transparent

GOLDEN HEAVY BODY ACRYLICS are known for their exceptionally smooth, thick consistency that retains brushstrokes and palette knife marks. With no added fillers, extenders or opacifiers, the inherent qualities of each pigment take center stage. The result is cleaner color mixing and a range of sheen and opacity across the line - from glowing, transparent colors ideal for glazing to dense, opaque colors providing excellent coverage.

• Transparent color originally made from ground cobalt glass and used in 16th and 17th century European paintings in place of Ultramarine. Historically Smalt loses color over time, but this modern formula offers a classic deep blue that is permanent.
• ASTM Lightfastness II (Very Good); Transparent; Pigment(s): PB29 (Polysulfide of Sodium-Alumino-Silicate), PV23 (Carbazole Dioxazine), PBk7 (Nearly Pure Amorphous Carbon); Vegan
• EXCEPTIONALLY SMOOTH, THICK TEXTURE retains brushstrokes and palette knife marks
• FORMULATION - Each color is formulated uniquely depending on the nature of the pigment resulting in a range of sheen and opacity across the line
• Made in the USA with globally sourced materials by an employee-owned company with more than 40 years of experience making paint for professional artists
