Elegant Art Nouveau Toilet Set by Antikeo

The elegance of this set is initially evident in the charming silhouette of the pitcher, shaped like a ewer, followed by the excellent proportion of the entire set. The pitcher, though substantial, is centrally positioned within a widely flared basin, resulting in a very balanced overall appearance. Crafted from late 19th-century earthenware, the pitcher bears the mark G11. In excellent condition, with no cracks or chips, the decoration is characteristic of the Art Nouveau style, featuring an intricate interweaving of foliage and flowers in a popular grey-blue or blue-grey hue. Measuring 38.5 cm in diameter for the basin and 28.5 cm in height for the pitcher, this set would gracefully adorn a beautiful vanity table or an entryway console, ready to welcome a fresh bouquet of flowers.
