Ideal for front single and double MTB drivetrains, Shimano's M5100-11 cassette provides Rider Tuned gear steps, ensuring precise cadence control across diverse mountain biking terrain.

Its Hyperglide sprockets feature strategically positioned shift ramps and tooth profiles for enhanced chain control during shifts, resulting in fast and responsive indexed shifting. The close ratio gearing allows a more efficient use of energy through finer cadence control.

The HG cassette sprocket, originally developed for the MTB 10-speed system, underwent extensive optimization to achieve exceptionally efficient shifting.
