The joint's taper pin is a precise fit, has an oversized sphere in the socket, and is carburized and surface coated for excellent strength and wear characteristics. With a 4-year warranty against defects and premature wear, and a heavy-duty design, this joint is still a wear item but is rebuildable with a simple rebuild kit.
