Capuche: A Medieval Tale of a Forbidden Love and a Barbaric Church

This is the origin story of a legend — narrated in a historical account. A medieval novel of hope, passion, cruelty, suffering — and ultimately redemption. For eight centuries, an ancient manuscript lay dormant. Deep within the parchment, under the ink, a story lay hidden. When discovered, this is the account that emerged:At the dawn of thirteenth-century England, Morvran ab moel Llywarch lives in two worlds. The Welsh Noble works at the mighty Diocese of Winchester, Rome’s most powerful enclave in England. At the same time, he is Capuche, the leader of the mystical Cathars — a mysterious sect brutally persecuted by the Vatican and the Inquisition as a heretic contagion.Consumed to eradicate the Cathars, Winchester’s Bishop Peter des Roches ignites the 1212 Great Fire of London and thousands of an already abused population die a horrific death in the flames while being trapped on London Bridge.Outraged at the destruction and senseless cruelty, Morvran, in his role as Capuche strikes back. His actions expose his intrusion at the Church, and with the help of a female Clergy member they escape into the Cathar communes and become outlaws, hunted as both heretics and traitors by the brutal Inquisition. Can they evade the Vatican and the Inquisition’s ever-tightening grip and avoid being burned at the stake? The codex relates a riveting medieval narrative — driven by a love that persists under the most arduous circumstances — while exposing the esoteric Cathars, Church corruption and the Templars’ Crusades.A historical saga based on actual events and personalities, this is a journey into a dark past.Second Edition — Fully Illustrated with Historical Cathar and Templar Backgrounds Read more
