- PREMIUM FULL-GRAIN SHEEPSKIN / LAMBSKIN – Made from top-quality full-grain sheep leather (often called lambskin) with natural grain texture, tightly packed silky pores and the true scent of real leather. Soft Nappa finish and average 0.8mm thickness give you genuine garment-weight leather – flexible, smooth and luxurious to touch on bags, wallets, book covers and clothing.
- MAXIMUM USABLE WHOLE HIDE COVERAGE – Large sheepskin (lambskin) hide in the 7–9 sq.ft range, ideal for jackets, bigger handbags or multiple smaller items cut from one continuous piece of leather. Each hide is measured at the tannery using a computerised area system, and the actual size in sq.ft is clearly marked on the back of the hide.
- AA GRADE – NO HOLES & CUTS IN MAIN AREA – Most craft hides arrive with holes, scars and knife cuts running through the usable area. We reject those. From every 100 hides at the tannery, only about 40% pass our AA-grade selection with clean, uninterrupted usable leather. The result is less waste, more yield per square foot and fewer nasty surprises when you start cutting.
- MADE FOR REAL LEATHER PROJECTS – Around 0.8mm garment leather is thin enough to sew on most home sewing machines yet strong enough for daily use. Ideal for handbags, totes, clutches, wallets, card holders, straps, bookbinding and journal covers, jacket panels and cuffs, cosplay and costume pieces, small upholstery patches, collars, belts and accessories.
- ETHICALLY SOURCED WHOLE HIDE – All skins come from animals reared as a food source and are tanned for long-term use. This is a genuine whole sheepskin hide, not bonded or synthetic leather and not a random scrap assortment. Perfect for leather crafters who want consistent, natural material for high-quality projects.
