Block Buster - Large Chunky Bird Toy

bir

The Block Buster is the ultimate heavy-duty bird toy, built for birds who love to chew, crack, and destroy everything in their path. Made entirely with solid blocks of untreated pine wood and securely assembled on a heavy-duty metal loop, this large toy is ideal for powerful beaks that breeze through standard bird toys.

Weighing in at nearly 2 pounds, the Block Buster is one of the chunkiest toys in our entire collection. Its wide, horizontal build gives it a unique footprint in the cage—making it perfect for large birds, but also a great challenge for destructive medium-sized birds who need something more substantial than typical medium toys.

Help Your Bird Learn to Play

Not all birds naturally know how to play with toys—some need a little encouragement. If your bird seems unsure or even scared of toys, don’t worry. Once they understand what toys are for, their instincts will take over! Use these resources to help your bird build confidence and curiosity with new toys:

Safety Reminder

Always supervise playtime with any bird toy. While we use the safest materials possible, no toy is 100% risk-free. Monitoring ensures the benefits of mental stimulation and beak exercise outweigh potential hazards. Be sure to also remove a toy from the environment if your bird does not play with it as intended, or if it destroyed to a point where what's left becomes hazardous.
