Black Cumin Seeds, 2 Pounds — Kosher, Raw, Vegan — by Food to Live

Black Cumin Seed is a dried fruit of the Nigella Sativa plant native to southwestern Asia and the Mediterranean. It’s famous for its unique rich flavor with a somewhat nutty and lemon undertone and is mostly used as a spice. Black Cumin Seeds need to be exposed to heat before use. Only 5 minutes of dry-roasting unleashes a smokey and rich nutty taste with onion-like notes. Its sophisticated flavor complements curries, stews, salad dressing, and marinades. Black Cumin Seed Spice also goes well with legumes, lentils, and root vegetables. For a nutritional boost, add them to oatmeal, smoothies, yogurt, and even honey. Besides, use Whole Black Cumin Seeds as a topping for bread, rolls, sandwiches, fish, and omelets.
