Basic Version: Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Leak and Flood Detection, SmartThings Compatible, Z-Wave Plus, S2, SmartStart, ZWave hub Required

Aeotec’s Water Sensor 7 (Basic) brings dependable leak detection to the places that matter most. Place the ultra-small sensor body and its cabled spot probe where drips and puddles start—under sinks, behind toilets, around water heaters, or in laundry areas—and get instant alerts through your Z-Wave hub before minor issues become costly repairs. Built on Gen7 Z-Wave with SmartStart and S2, Water Sensor 7 is easy to pair, secure by design, and optimized for long range and long battery life. Connect it to the Aeotec Smart Home Hub (SmartThings) or another compatible Z-Wave gateway to automate texts, sirens, and water-valve shutoffs for whole-home protection. What’s in the box: Sensor, cabled spot probe, mounting tape/screws, battery (pre-installed), quick start guide. Compatibility notes: Requires a compatible Z-Wave hub; not Wi-Fi.
