The vented lid design includes four cable openings and upward-facing vents to safely release battery gases while minimizing water intrusion. A heavy-duty hold-down strap rated to withstand 350 lbs. of force ensures secure installation—nearly four times the U.S. Coast Guard requirement. The box meets ABYC Standard E-10 and USCG Specification 183.420, making it suitable for OEM and aftermarket use.
