The DT Swiss ARC 1400 line is built for riders who demand aerodynamic excellence, proven performance, and uncompromising reliability. Already dominant at the highest levels of road and triathlon racing in its 2nd generation, the latest ARC 1400 series raises the bar even further.

Engineered for Speed — Refined for Precision

The 3rd generation ARC 1400 wheels feature a fully proprietary carbon rim, developed in partnership with the aerodynamic experts at Swiss Side. Rigorously tested at the GST wind tunnel in Germany, these wheels are optimised for real-world racing conditions.

The updated rim profile includes a 22 mm internal width, designed specifically for 28–30 mm tyres. Its unique hybrid V-shape allows for deeper rim depths while improving crosswind stability — even outperforming many shallower wheels in turbulent airflow.

Lighter, Deeper, Faster

Despite the increase in width and depth, further refinements in carbon lay-up deliver a weight saving of up to 125 grams per pair compared to the previous ARC 1400 generation.

Hub Excellence from the Heart of Switzerland

At the centre of each wheel is the rock-solid and lightweight DT Swiss 240 hub, featuring the premium Ratchet EXP system. This patented design reduces weight, improves bearing stance, and maintains DT’s world-renowned reliability and ease of maintenance.

Built by Hand — Tuned for Speed

Each wheel is hand-built in Europe, using Swiss-made T-head Aero Comp spokes and DT Pro Lock hidden nipples. The result is high-end aerodynamic performance with long-term structural stability.
