Aqua Natural Delta Sand 10lb Substrate for aquascaping, Aquariums, vivariums and terrariums

This sand is reminiscent of the rich soil of the Mississippi Delta Wetlands, with dark browns and earthy tones. 0.8 - 1.2mm in size - it has a dense composition and low fines so does not blow around in your tank. Perfect to create a featured pathway in your aquascape or as a base for a natural 'scape. As a rule of thumb, you need 1lb/gallon, so if you have a 20 gallon tank, 20lbs is enough for a 1/2in layer. If you want to build up the height of your decor or if you have a lower flatter aquarium, change that 1.5-2lbs/gallon
