Spray it and you're done! Every brewery needs a bottle of Alpet on hand for quick sanitation before or after cold-side transfers, hop additions, or pulling samples. Very useful for spraying ball valves on your conical or tri-clamp ferrules before connecting fittings. Really anything that you can't easily soak in your standard sanitizer!

Quat-free sanitizers are ideal for food processing environments where surfaces are sprayed down with sanitizer multiple times a day. Standard Alpet contains Quat, also known as quaternary ammonium chloride compounds. These compounds remain behind after the leftover alcohol evaporates and continue to break down germs on the surface. In home use, the quaternary ammonia will eventually break down and evaporate as well, but in professional environments, surfaces are often sprayed down again before it has the chance to evaporate. Quat-free Alpet is the sanitizer of choice for breweries, wineries, and bakeries that don't want residual ammonia interfering with yeast activity. 

Alpet D2 Quat-Free Surface Sanitizer is a ready-to-use, no-rinse, fast acting, food contact and non-food contact surface cleaner and sanitizer. It is highly evaporative and ideal for water sensitive equipment and dry environments. It leaves no unsightly residue, and is an effective sanitizer for those processors who can't use quat.
