Air Coltan Bump Cap. Fits: EN 812:1998 A1 2001 Baseball Style Impact Resistant Cap Adjustable buckle from 55cm to 62cm) Highly breathable lightweight polyethylene shell with 18 holes and covered with a mesh fabric to keep the head cool. Comfortable polyethylene and EVA foam fabric to absorb shock absorbent. Weight: 200g Bump caps are intended for use when there is a significant risk of impact between the head and static objects such as low ceilings. Where there is a high risk of impact with moving objects of any kind, an industrial safety helmet should be used. A cap to protect the head against impacts, is a protective impact proof is included as a mandatory requirement. This is done by mounting the cap on a fixed headform and then with a mass vertical fall. The force by which the headform is recorded - allowing a maximum transmission force of 15 kN. An approximately 12 joules of impact energy is used for testing (compared to the 49 joules impact used for industrial helmets).
