A Night With The Stars - Hosted By Bob Hope - The 1945 Command Performance Special ORIGINAL RECORDINGS REMASTERED SET

Anyone who enjoyed the Road pictures of old radio programs will love this CD. The recording was made at Christmas 1945 and features great laughter and banter between Bob, Bing, Frank and Judy with song from the likes of Jimmy Durante and Cass Daley. This is a very funny CD that will have you laughing, not just with a smile, but out loud and there is always a need for that. With the War over in both Europe and the Far East, the end of 1945 was a time for celebration in the Allied countries, not least the U.S.A which had provided the final ingredients for success. The line up speaks for itself on this complete airing of a classic show, presented by Jasmine on a 2CD set. The Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra comedy 'battle' alone makes this a must CD for all comedy and nostalgia fans, not to mention a selection of other choice vocal performances.
