Montana Tackle “PRO KOKANEE III" Light action Downrigger Rod... Our light action Kokanee rod is an exact copy of our original Lamiglas rod, made with the same tubular fiberglass blank which produces a rod with both strength AND sensitivity!!! Made with 12 Fuji eyelets and a comfortable cork handle. Rated as a light action rod but with incredible ultralight feel!!! This rod was designed specifically for Kokanee Salmon, but has enough backbone to land large trout… it has caught trout up to 8 pounds and one 15 pound Mackinaw!!! It is painted gloss black with fluorescent teal accents and graphics. Black is a neutral color so any color of reel will look great on it!!! This might become your favorite Kokanee Rod!!! Over 500 sold throughout the USA and Canada!!! Montana tough with sensitivity and class. "THE BEST ROD THAT I'VE EVER OWNED!!!" - Bill Nolan, Sunapee, New Hampshire
- Sensitive tip to feet every twitch and head shake
- Enough backbone to haul in larger fish
